Step 1: Understand Nebraska’s Dental Assisting Requirements

In Nebraska, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) oversees the registration and regulations for dental assistants. To work as a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA), the state requires you to meet specific criteria:

Education: You must graduate from a state-approved dental assisting program or school.
