We are looking for a bilingual Dental Assistant who is passionate about caring for underserved populations. The selected candidate will assist the dentist with procedures chairside, collect data and maintain accurate documentation for patients’ files, and sterilize all dental surfaces, instruments, and equipment. They will answer telephone calls and schedule appointments as necessary. They will also perform Coronal Polishing, if qualified to do so. This position is located on our main campus (30th & L). The schedule will be 40 hours per week, generally 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Experience with Dentrix software preferred.
• Previous training/experience in dental assisting preferred.
• Experience in taking radiographs preferred.
• Experience in Coronal Polishing preferred.
