Job Responsibilities:

Assist with dental procedures
Comfort patients before, during, and after dental treatment
Monitor and administer nitrous oxide
Perform infection control and sterilize instruments and equipment
Turn over chairs between patients and help keep our practice tidy
Perform coronal polishing procedures under indirect supervision of the pediatric dentist (with proper certification)
Take dental x-rays (with proper certification)
Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (e.g. toothbrushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
Enter clinical notes on an Apple computer
Communicate with patients and parents (e.g. scheduling, answering the telephone, billing)
