Job Description

Well established, busy, hi-tech digital dental practice looking for a full-time Dental Assistant.

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

• Well-rounded clinical skills and eager to learn
• Patient centered
• Must be able to communicate well with patients and team
• Ability to educate patients on good oral health
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience using Dentrix is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• 1 year of dental assisting preferred

Certifications:

• X-ray certification is required
• Coronal polish certification is a plus

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour

• Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

Duties:

• Assisting chair-side
• Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
• Using computers to update electronic patient records
• Assisting with lab tasks as needed
• Assisting with front office tasks as needed
