Frost Periodontics & Dental Implants: Seeking Surgical Dental Assistant
Applicants must be skilled with excellent computer skills, customer service, the ability to multi-task, have attention to detail, retain instructions well & implement office protocols. The applicant must have positive & friendly communication, teamwork and professional attitude, organization, self-motivation.. ~32+ hour work week, paid vacation. Employees meeting criteria are eligible for bonuses and retirement plan. Applicants without dental experience will NOT be considered. Compensation negotiable.
Daily activities include:
– Direct patient care: greet & seat patients, triage, oral hygiene instructions, post-op instructions, Q&A
– Using digital technologies to include digital impressions & CBCT
– Assisting doctor with dental and surgical procedures
– Prepare & breakdown operatories
– Sterilization & organization of equipment
– Assisting with inventory management and ordering
– Answering phones, scheduling patient appointments
– Helping in office cleaning efforts
– Writing reports to referring doctors on patient treatment status
– Providing support for the doctor and other staff members
– Managing & distributing postmail and email, uploading radiographs & referrals
*Radiology & coronal polish certifications are required.
Hours:
Monday: 7:15am-5pm
Tuesday: 7:15am-5pm
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: 7:15am-5pm
Friday: 7:15am-1pm
*No weekends
