We are looking for bilingual Dental Assistants who are passionate about caring for underserved populations. The selected candidate will assist the dentist with procedures chairside, collect data and maintain accurate documentation for patients’ files, and sterilize all dental surfaces, instruments, and equipment. They will answer telephone calls and schedule appointments as necessary. They will also perform Coronal Polishing, if qualified to do so. We are hiring for the following locations: – South Omaha (30th & L) – West Omaha (120th & I) These are full-time positions (40 hours per week). The schedule will be Monday-Friday, generally 8am-5pm. QUALIFICATIONS: – High School Diploma or GED required. – Dental Assisting experience required. – Basic Life Support certification required. – Proficiency in both English and Spanish required. – Strong computer skills required. – Experience with Dentrix software preferred. – Previous training/experience in dental assisting preferred. – Experience in taking radiographs preferred. – Experience in Coronal Polishing preferred. Our providers are eligible for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps. OneWorld has HPSA scores of 20 for primary care, 22 for dental, and 21 for mental health.
