Dental Assistant

The office is growing- another dentist will be joining the practice- It Is Exciting!

This is a family dental practice that treats patients of all ages and is in need of a DENTAL ASSISTANT who is certified to take radiographs and in coronal polishing.

Most responsibilities of this job utilize the skills and education that prepared you to be an assistant and will be reviewed with you at an interview. Beyond this, you need to be friendly and caring to patients, sincere in your dedication to the dental profession, and a cohesive part of the dental staff.

Your day begins at 7:15am and ends at 5:30pm. There is a personal hour off that occurs midday. The office has a rotating work week. One week you will work Monday – Thursday and the next week Tuesday – Friday. There may be slight variations based on Holidays. This schedule provides a 4 day weekend with an alternating 2 day weekend. If this is confusing, be sure to ask about it.

BENEFITS

There is PTO earned which is equivelent to 8 paid days (2 weeks) off per year. It is your choice how you take it. If you are gone for 2 hours, it counts as PTO. It is for full time (36hr/week) staff. There are 6 paid holidays. You and your immediate family will have dental services provided, less half of the lab bills, for treatment provided in the office. Continuing Education opportunities, and CPR certification are included.

Covid 19 Protocol is followed: Uniforms are provided, PPE provided, room air purifiers in each treatment room. Patients are screened, areas disinfected/sanitized, dental instruments, etc. sterilized.
